Cotswold RDA Donation

We have donated £300 to Cotswold RDA which is based just up the road from us at the racecourse.

We are always keen to help out local causes and were taken aback by the fantastic work the Cotswold Riding For Disabled Association do. So far we have thrown our weight behind the local RDA by painting numerous outbuildings, work which is set to continue into the New Year, and most recently taking on fundraising for the local charity.

We recently held our annual quiz at the Queens Hotel and raised enough money to go towards a reconditioned motor which will power a hoist.

Cotswold RDA has over 100 riders each week, and some riders are wheelchair bound. The hoist which will be installed in the New Year will enable riders who cannot currently get on a horse to be involved in the fantastic activity.

With this generous donation we are now able to help those who are wheelchair bound; as without a hoist they wouldn’t be able to get on a horse and enjoy the experience like everyone else.
