The Rotary Club of Cheltenham was established in 1921 and the first club to form in Cheltenham. They meet every Tuesday evening at The Thistle Hotel. The Rotary Club of Cheltenham are involved with the following causes:

Rotary Club of Cleeve Vale

Cleeve Vale Rotary Club meet on Wednesday evenings at Seasons Conference Centre in Swindon Village. Cleeve Vale's two main fundraisers are the Cheltenham Circular Challenge and the Precott Hill Classic Car event. These events enable Cleeve Vale to support:

  • Computers for African Schools
  • Polio Eradication in India
  • Maggies - Cheltenham
  • Life Education Centres Gloucestershire
  • Burma - babies at risk

The Rotary Club of Cheltenham North usually meet on the first, third and fifth Thursday at The Queens Hotel. Cheltenham North support the following causes:

Rotary Club Of Cheltehnam Sunrise

Cheltenham Sunrise meet on Tuesday mornings at The Landsdown Inn. Sunrise are involved with the follwing causes:

  • Rebuilding a school facility bloc in Zimbabwe
  • Funding an AIDS clinic in Easter Cape
  • Rebuilding a fishing village in South East India after the Tsunami
  • Partnerships with CCP, Sea Cadets and disability groups
  • Supporting Whaddon and Pittville Schools
  • Cancer Research UK's Race for Life
